A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEiM

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive e verified Petition for Variance

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold e public hearing. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim
on November 13' 1963, et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public hearing having been duly given as required
by law and in accordance wiffi the provisions of the Meheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68,to hear and consider
evIdence for and against said proposed variance and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connec-
tian therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspaction, investigation, and study mede by itself end in its behalf,
and after due consideretion of all evidence a~id reports offe:ed as said hearing, does find end detexmine the following
facts:
1. Th t the petitioner cec~uests a variance from the Anaheim Municipal Code: Section 18o32a'120 (1)y which
reqi:i•res 1~ spaces per dweliing unit in a garage, to permit the construction of carports on
subject propertyo
2. That there are exceptional or extraordinary aircumstences or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the property or cless of use in the same vicinity
and zone.
3. Tliat the requested varience is neceasary for the preservation af~d eajoyment of a substantial property right
possessed by other propedy in the seme viclnity end zone, and denied to the property in question.
4. That the reqaested varience will not be materially detrimental to the public welfete or injurious to the prop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Plenning Commission does hereby grant subject
Petition for Varience, upon the following conditions which are I~eteby found to be a necessery precequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject propedy in ocder to preserve the sefety and generel welfare of the Citizens of the City of
Anaheim.
lo That the rear and side walls of the proposed carports shall be finished with exterior
building materials, that enclosed sto.rage cabinets with a minimum capacity of one hundred
cubic feet shall be provided at the rear wall, and that adequate bumper guards shall be
provided to protect the interior walls of the carports prior to final building inspecti.on~
