A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 523 BE GRANTED
• WHEREAS, the Ciry Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did ceceive a verified Petition for Conditional
~^ f Use Permit from BROADWAY-HALE STORES, INCORPORATED, 600 South Spring Street, Los Angeles,
California, Owners; S. CRAIG GRAINGER, 125 South Claudina St~_eet, Anaheim, California,
Agent of certain real property situated in the City of !anoheim, Ccuaty of Orange, State
; ~ of California, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and _eferred to herein as '
though set forth in full "
; and
WHEREAS, the City Plnnning Commission dici hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
January 6~ 1964~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as requiced by
law and in acco:dence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal code, Chepter 18.64, to hear and consider evidence
for end egainst said proposed conditionel use and to investigate and meke findings and cecommendations ia connection
therewith; and
WHEREPa, said Commission, after due inspectlon, investigation, end study made by itseii end in its behali, end
efter due consideration of ell evidence end reports offeced at seid hearing, does find and determine the following fects:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditionel .Use Permit is authorized by this Code, to
wit:Establ'ish a sexvice stationo
2. That the pcoposed use will not edversely a£fect.the adjoining land uses and the gcowth end development of
the area in which itis proposed to be loceted.
3. That the size and shepe of the site proposed for the use is edequete to ellow the full development oE the ,
pcoposed use in a manner not detrimental to the perticular area nor to the peace, health, sefety, and ~eneral welfare
of the Citizens of the City of Maheim.
4. Thet the grnnting of the ~onditional Use Permit under the conditions imposed, if any, will not be detr:mental
to 4he peace, heelth, sefety, and general welfere of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
5. That no one appeared in oppositicn to subject petition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Aneheim City Plenning Commission does heteby grant subject
Petition for Conditionel Use Permit, upon the following conditions which ere hereby found to be a neces~ary prerequisite
Zo the proposed use of the subject ptoperty in ocder to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of the
City of Anaheim:
1. That this conditional use permit is granted subject to the completion of Feclassification
No. 63-64-67.
2. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file
in the office of the Director of Public Works, prior to final building inspection.
3. That sidewalks shall be installed along Wilshire Avenue as required by the City Engineer
and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the office of the City
Engineer prior to final building inspectione
4. That adequate pedestrian protection shall be provided at the existing drainage facilities
which meets the approval of the State Division of Highways and the City Engineer.
5. That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and
sper,;.r"ications on file with the City of .Anaheim, marked "Exhibit Nose 1, 2~:id 3", and
further that subject property shail be developed substantially iii accordance with adopted
Service Stai;ion Minimum Site Development Standards.
