A RFSOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING O~MMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
REt7DMMENDING TO THE CITY ~UNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NOo 11 BE D£SAPPROVE?~
WHEREAS, the City Council of •ihe City of Anaheim did adopt a General
Plan by Resolution Noo 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of
land uses within the City and indicating the present belief of the City Council
as to possible future development and redevelopment of land witliin the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive
a verified Petition for Reciassification Noo 63-64-8b, which petition has implications
on policies as expressed on said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the notice of the hearing on said Reclass-
if ication, notice was also given regarding the consideration of an amendment to
the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of subject property of said
Reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim on February 17, 1964, at 2:00 o°clock PahAo, notice
of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance
with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence
for and against said amendment to the General Plan and said proposed Petition for
Reclassif ication to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection
therewith, and
WHEREAS, said Commission~after due inspection, investiqation, and study
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports orfexed at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND
1. That the present general description and extent of land uses
in the afor~mentioned area adequately renresents past and~current
City policies regarding possible future development of said
general area.
2. That no evidence was presented at said hearing which would justify
the City Planning Commission recommending a change in the above-
mentioned policies to the City Councilo
3. That Exhibit No. 1 of General Plan Amendment Noo 11 does not con-
stitute an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated
on the General Plan.

NOW, THEREF~RE~ BE IT RESOLVID that the City Planning Commission of the
City of Maheim does hereby recommend to the Ci~y Council of the City of Anaheim
that subject General Plan Amendment be disapproved on the basis of the aforementioned
findings.
