A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAIiEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAEIEIM T'.iAT
GENERAL PLAN AN~NDMENT NOo 14 BE APPROVED
WE~REAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General
Plan by Resolution Noa 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of
land uses within the City and indicating the present belief of the Council as
to possible future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did
receive a veri:ied Petition for Reclassification No. 63-64-101, which petition
has implications on policies as expressed on said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the notice of the hearing on said reclas-
sification, notice was also given regarding the consideration of an amendment to
the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of subject property of said
reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public heariiig at
the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on March 30, 1964, at 2:00 o'clock P.M.,
notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in
accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider
evidence for and against said Amendment to the General Plan and said proposed
Petition fcr Reclassification to investigate and make findings and recommendations
in connection therewith; and
WI-IEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study
made by itself and in its behalF and after due consideration of all evidence and
xeports offered at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND
lo That the present general description and extent of land uses
in the aforementioned area does not adequately represent past
and current City policies regarding possible future development
of said general area.
2. That evidence was presented at said hearing which would justify
the City Planning Commission recommending a change in the above-
mentioned policies to the City Council.
3o That Exhibit "A" of General Plan Amendment No. 14 does constitute
an acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on
the General Plano

i - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of
the City of Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of
j Anaheim that subject General Plan Amendment be approved on the basis of the
~ aforementioned findings and in accordance with Exhibit A.
