WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did initiate a Petition for Variance
on certain real property situated in the City of flnaheim9 County of Orange9 State of California~
d~scrih~d as ~ stri~ af land 50 feet wide along.the easterly right-of-way line of Anaheim
Beulevard9 (Los Angeles Sti"e'~t) from Ball Road to Cerritos Avenue and a strip of land 50 feet
wide along ihe southerly ri`ght-of-~nay of &al'1 Road from Anaheim Boulevard to the east line of
Lot Noo 1 of Tract Npa 335'1 extendedo
; and
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a publlc hearing et the City Hall in the City of Aaeheim
on April 13, '19649 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public heesing having been duly given es required
by law and in eccordence with the provisiona of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68,to hear and consider
evidence for end egainst said proposed variance end to inves~igate and meke findings end recommendetions in connec-
tion therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, efter due irtspection, investigetion, end study made by itself and in ita behalf,
and after due consideretion of all evidence and ~epocts offeeed es seid hearing, does find end determine th~ following
facts:
1. That the petitioner ce~iuests e varience from the Maheim Municipal Code:~eCtion..18a52o 060(2)9 Site Dev-
elopment Standards.for Yards and Setbacks; and Section 18a60,0i0(1-b) which requires•~inat tihe
bvilding setback line shall be a minimum of fifty feet from the property line, with a minimum
of 2C feet used for landscaping with lawn and~or flowers, shrubs9 etco9 to permit the reduction
of the rsquired landscaping in the front yard setback on Anaheim Boulevard between Ball Road
on the north and Cerritos Avenue on the south, and the south side of Ball Road for a distance
of approximately ~118 feet easterlya
