RECOMME~IDING TO THE CITY OOUNCIL OF TitL ~ITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
- GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NOo 19 BE DISAPPROVID

- NII-L~REAS, the City Councii ~f the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by Resollation
No. 63R-R69, showing the general description and extent of land uses within the City and
indicating the present belief of the Council as to possibie future development and redevelop-
~ ment of land within the City;.and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified
~:. Petition for Reclassification No. 63-64-115 and Tentative Map of Tract No. 5611, which
petition has implicatios~s an policies as expressed on said General. Planqand
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the notice of the hearing on said reciassification, notice
was also giver. regarding the consideration of an amendment to the Genera? Plan in the general
location and vicinity of subject pQOperty of said reclassificatzon; and
WHEREAS, the City P.lanning Commission did hold a public hearina at t.F,~ L'ity Hall in
the City of Anaheim un May 11, 1964, at the hour of 2s00 0'clock P.M., notice oi~ said public
hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provis;ons of
the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and cwnsider evidence for and agai.nst said Amendn:ent to
the General Plan and said proposed Petition for Reclassification to investigate and make
findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investiga±ion; and study made by itself
and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence a~~d reports offered at :aid
hearing, DOES HERFBY FIND
1. That the present general description and extent of land uses in the a£orementioned
area adequately represents past and current City policies regarding possible
future development of said ge~eral area, bounded on the north by South Street,
on the west by State College Boulevard, on the south by Wagner Avenue an~3 on
the east by the park and school district adjacent to Sunkist Avenue.
2. That no evidence was presented at sa~d hearing which ~ould ;ustify the City ~
Planning Commission recommending a change in the above mentioned policies
to the City Council.
3., 'fhat Exhibit "A" of General Plan Amendment No. 19 does not canstitute an
accaptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the Gener.al Plane

NOW~ THEREF03E BE IT RESOLVID that the City Planning Commission of the City
of Maheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that
subject General Plan Amendment be disapproved on the basis of the aforementioned
findings and in accordance with Exhibit A.
