PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 63-64=133 gE ApPROVED
WHEY2EAS, the City Plenning Commiesion of the City of Aneh~im did initiate a verified Petition for
Reclassi;ication on certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California~ described as th•a South 175 feet of the West 175 feet of t~e Southwest
querter of Section 1~{, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown
on a.Map recorded in Book 51, page lI of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orangz County,
Californiag Excepting therefrom.those portions dedicated for road and public utility purposes
lying within th~ right of way of Ball Road and Knott Avenue as conv.eyed to County of Orange
by deed recorded November 21, 1956 as Document Numher 155729 in Book 3719, page 23 of Offlcial

WHEREAS, fhe City Planniag Commission did hold e public headng et the City Hell in the City of Anaheim on
Jut~e 15~ 1964, et 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of seid publl.c hearing having been duly given ae required by
law and in accordance with the provieione of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chepter ~8.72, to !~ear and consider evidence
for end against seid ptoposed reclassification end to investigate and make ~indinga end recommendetions in connectIon
thecewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commiesion, after due inspection, investlgatlon, end study mede by itself end in its behalE, end
efter due consideretion of all evidence and repocts offeced et seid heering, does find end dctermine the following facta:
1. Thetthe Planning Commission pxoposes tHe reclassification of the abov? described
pronerty from the existing R-Ay Residential AgricLltural9 Zone, and proposes ~aid property
for reclassification into the G1g Nei9hborhood Commercialo Zoneo
2o That an amendment to the General Pian is deemed unnecessary9 because the size of
the parcel pro~osed for reclassification would not generally affect the City's policies
in this area.:
3e That the present use of sub3ect property is a service stationo
4o That the existing use was established under the 3urisdiction of the County of Orangeo
5o That no one appeared in opposition to sub~ect petitiono

~` NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Astaheim City planning Commiasion does hereby recommend ,
~ to the City Council of the City of Rneheim thet snb3ect Petltion for Recleaeiftcation be appmved and, by ao doing,
;' that Title 1&Zoning of the Anoheim Municipal Code be emended to exclude the above described ptop~rty from the
R-A, Residential Agricultural, Zone, and to incorporate §aid described property into the
- C-1; Neighborhood'Commercial; Zone, unconditionally,
