the..City Cauncil of the..City of Aaiaheim the adoption of the amendment ot Titile Eighteen
by the amendment ~to Chapter lBo3~, Zoning Code - R-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zone of
the.Anaheim Municipal Code as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to hereir

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18~ CHAPTER 18e32
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATII~G TO ZONING
THE CITY CDUNCIL OF THE CIT'Y OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWSs
Section 1
That Title 18, Chapter 18032 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"CFIAPTGR 18032 - R-3~ MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENfIAL ZONE"
SECTION.18o320010 - DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSEo This zone is intended to
provide for and encn;x*age the orderly development of inedium density
residential ereas and further to maintain and enhance those living
enviroAment characteristics consistent with established cammunity values.
SECTION 18.32.020 - PERNITTED BUILDINGS~ STRUCTURES9 AND !~SES.
' (1) Subject to all the provisions of this zone, the follcwuing
buildings, structures, and uses, either singly or in combina-
tion, are permitted; provided that where thr~e (3) or more
main buildings are located on a building site, the provisions
of Chapter 1~8e65, Pianned Residential Developments, shall applyo
(a) Any uses permitted in the R-1 zone~ subject to a11
restrictions and regula~ions of such zoneo
(b) Any uses.permitted in the P,-~ zoneo
(2) Where there are existing buildings and structures on a site for
which more intensive development is proposed under the provisions
of this zone, no building permit shall be issued until,the Chief
Building Iaspector, the Utilities Director, and the Fire Chief
have certified that the existing buildings and structures are
safe for occupancy and for human habitationo `

only where they aTe integrated with and clearly incidental to a primary
