RECOA~NDING TO Ti~ CTfY COUNCIL OF T}~ CTCY OF ANAFIEII+I THAT

W1~REAS, tfie City Council of the ~ity o£ Anahpim did adopt a Hiahway Rights-of-
Way-Circulation Element of the General Plan by kesolution No. 63R-869 shawing the ultimate
rights-of-way of streets within the Gity9 and

W}~REAS, the City Planning Commission did hald public hearings at the City Ha11 in ~
the City of Anaheim on April 13, June 8 and 24, 1964, natice of said public hearing having
been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence foi and against said amendmcnt to the Highrray ;
Rig!~ts-of-Way-Circulation Element of the General Plan and to investigate and make findings ;
and recommendations in connection =herer-ith; and
Wf~REAS, said Commission after dve inspection, investigation, and study made by
itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reporte offered
at said hearing, DOES t~REBY FIND
1. That evidence was presented at said hearings Nhich wonld justify the City
Planning Commission recommencYrng a change in the above mentioned Hi9hway
Rights-~:f-Hay- Circulatfon•Eiement of the General Plan to the City Cou~cil.
2o That the City Engineer recommenda that tlte future possible Rights-of-H':y be
protected from encroachment of buildings by the establishment of ~ building
setback line along the nort~r3lde of Manchester Avenue extending appr.oxtmately
150 feet easterly of Harbor Ba~levarde
3o That the existing Table•of Exeeptions to the official Highway Rights-of-Way
Plan, wherefn are estab~ishqd all planned Highway Righta-of-Way lines,
contains one bu~lding setba~k in the area of Anaheim Baulevard betMeen Wilhelmina
Street and South Streeta
4o That the method of establishing a building setback 1S,ne in lieu of a planned
Highway «ights-of-May line is deemed the best method of preserving the ultimate
right-of••way needed for A~anchester A~enue without prejuding the method of
right-of-rray acquisition.

NOIA, TFEREfORE, BF Tt RESOLY£D that the City Planning Coaenission of the City of
Anaheim does hereby recommend to t~City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Highray
Rights-of-Way- Circvlation Ele~ent the General Plan be amended in accordance wirh
Exhibit "A•; and

Righta-of-Way Plan, Marked Exhibit "C" be amended to read as follaws~
