RECOA~ING TO T}~ CITY OOUNCIL OF T}f CTfY OF ANAF~IM THAT

Mt~REAS, the Cfty Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by
Resolution No~ 63R~869, sharing the general deccription and extent of land uses within
tAe City and indicating !he pretant•belief of !he Council as to possible future devel-
opment and redavelopeent of land within the City; and
NF~REAS, t~fe City Planning Co~mi6sion of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified
PeEition for Recla~tification No. 6M65-29 which petition has implicationa on policies as
expre~sed on ~aid 6eneral Plan; and
M1~~EAS, in con3unction with the notice of the hearing on ~aid reclasoif~cation,
notice vras also given regarding the cortsideration of an amendment to the General Plan in
the general location and•vicinity of tubject property of eaid reclassification; and
IMI~REAS9 t City Planning Eonmi~sion did hold a public hearing at the City Hall
in the City of Ana~'etm an July 8. 1964~ notice of said public hearing having been duly
given ae required by law and in accordance with the provi~ion• of the Anaheim Municipal
Code9 to hear and Fons~dtr evidence for and againet •aid Amendment to the General Plan
and said proposed tetittdn for Reclasaif:cation to investigate and make findings and
recomendations in~•conn~etion thererritf~; and

itself and in it~ ~ehslf,~•and after due con~ideration of all evidence and reports offered

1. 7hat tfie present general description and extent of land uses in the afore-
men#i ~d ~r~a adequately represents past and current City policies regarding
poscib~~~futtlre develbpment of said general area of Dale Street and Ball Road.
2. Thai np evidsnce was presented at said hearing which wauld justify the City
PlanniRq COrtqission recommending a cyange in the above-mPntioned policies to
the City'COtl~til.
3e That Exhibit~ "A« g"B" of General Plan Amendment No. 27 do not constitute
acceptab2e a?ternative~ to current policies as illustrated on the General.
