RECO!-Q~NDING TO TF~ CITY COUNCIL OF T}~ CITY OF ANAF~IM THAT

~ NF~REAS, the CSty Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a Generai Plan by
ResolUtion No. 43R-8699 shorning the general description and extent of land uses riti~in
the City and indlcatin9 the present belief of the Council as to possible future devel-
opment and redeVelopment of land within the City; and
WF~REAS, the Cfty Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified
Petition for Reclaacification Noa 63-64-145, which petition has implications on policies as
expressed on said General P? .~; and
WF~REAS, in con~unction with the notice of the hearing on said reclassification,
notice was also given ~garding the consideration of ar amendment to the General Plan in
the general location and vicinity of subject praperty c~f said reclassification; and
WF~REAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall
in the City of Anaheim on June 22 and July 8, 1964, notice of said public hearing having
been duly given as required by lavr and ln accordance witt, the provisions of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, to hea: and consider evidence for and against said Amendment to the General
Plan and said proposed PeLition for Reclassification to investigate and mak~ findings and
recort~mendations in connection therewith; and
WF~REAS, said Commission after due inspection, investiyation, and study made by
itself and in its beha~f and after due consideration of all evidence and repcrts offered
at said hearing9 DOES }fREBY FIND
le That the present general description and extent of land uses in the afore-
mentioned area adequately represent past and current City policies regarding
posaib2e future developdient of said general area, and further, based on the
fact'tltAt tlanning Study 39-4-2 conveys and eutstantiates the ~and use pollcy
and hi6tory of zoning acLions in the vicinity of Ball. Road and Western Ave•~ue.
2. That no ev~dence was presented at said hearing which would justify the City
Planninq Cbmmission recommending a change in the above-mentioned policies to
the City Councile
3. That Exhibit •A' of General Plan Amendment No. 26 does not constitute an
acceptable alternative to current policies as illustrated on the General
Plan.

Anaheim does hereby recocrtnend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that subject
General Plan Amendment be disapproved on the basis of the aforementioned findings:.
