A RESOLU'IION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSIOtJ DF iE~ CITY OF ANAt~IM
RECONIMENDING TO THH CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANARETM TEFWIINATION
OF RECLASSIFICATION N0. 62-63-131 AND COND~TIONAL USE PERMIT NOS. 440 AND 441.
Wt~REAS, the City Planning Commission on August 5, 1963, by Resolution Nos. 858, 859,
and•860, Series~1963-64y did reco~renend to the City Cuuncil approval of Reclassification
No. 62-63-131 and Condi±ional Use Permit Nose 440 and 441; and
WE~REAS~ Ordinance No. 1949 dated December 3, :963, was read by~ the City Council
rOclassifying property considered in Reclassification No. 62~63~•i31 to the R-3, Multiple-
Family Residential and C-1, Neighborhood Commercial, Zones; and
WHEREAS, City Council Resolution Nos.63R-730 and 731 were granted on September 10,
1463, for Conditfonal Use Permit Nose 440 and 441; and
WF~REAS, the City Planping Comnission did receive a verified Petition for Cond-itional
[ke Permit No. 596, proposinq the conversion of the existing 216 apartment unit pro3ect
into a 432 unit motel-hotel complex; and
Wt~REAS, the City Planning Commission did hald a public hearing at the Cit}~ Hall in
the City of Anaheim on July 20, 1964, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing
havinq been duly given as reqUired by law and in accordance with the provisiorts of the
Anaheim `Aunicipal Code, Chapter 16.64, to hear and consider evidence for and against said
proposed conditional use and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in con-
nection therewiths and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did grant Petition for Conditional Use Permit
Noe 596 subject to conditions in Resolution Noo 1276, Series 1964-65; and
WI~REAS, +he subsequently approved conversion in use of property nullifies the use
of the property for which it was reclassified under Reclassification No. 62-63-131s and
WE~REAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended General Plan Amendment No. 28
to the City Council proposing a land use change to Commercial Recreation Area use,
NOW, TF~REFORE, AE IT RESOLUED, that the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim the termination
of Reclassification Noo 62-63-131 and Conditional Use Permit Nos. 440 and 441, based on
the foregoing findings.
