A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING OOM1J-ISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RL~MMENDING TO THE CITY ~UNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
GENERAL PLAN AMENDM^cNT NOo 36 BE APPRQVm
WHEREAS9 tfie City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan
by Resolution Noo 63R-8699 showing the general description and extent of land
uses within the City and indicatinq the present belief of the Cuuncil as to
possible.future developaien.t and redevelopment of land within the city; and
WHERfASy the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive
a verif ied Petitlon for Reclassification Noo 64-65-239 which Petition has im~
plications on policies as expressed on said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction 1vi;:h the notice of the hearing on said reclass-
ifications notice was also given regarding the consideration of an amendment

of said reclassification; and
WHEREASy the CTty Planning Commiss~on did hold a public hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim on Augvst 319 1964, at 2s00 0°clock pomo,
notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by iaw and
in accordance with the pro~~isions of the Ar,aheim Muni~tpai Codes to hear and
cons~der evidence for and against said amendment to the Genexal P'lan and said
proposed Petition for reclassification to 3nvestigate and make findings and
recommendations in conne:tion therewithy and
WHEREAS9 said Co~nission after due inspection, investigation9 and study
inade by ~Lseif and in its bet~alf and a.Ler d~e ccnsideration c:' ~11 evidence
and reports offered at said hearing.y DOFS HERIDY FIND
lo That evidence was presented at said hearing which justifies
the City P.lanning Commission's recommending to the City
Council a change in the present general description and
extent of .1and uses 3n the aforementioned are?a bounded
by State Co~lege Bou~evard on the west, Lincoln Avenue
on the south, a line 175 feet east of Sta+.e College
Boulevard on the east9 and a line 1200 feet south of
Lincoln Avenue on the north, and comprising approx:mat-
ely 2~5 acreso
2o That Exhibit "A" of Generai Pian Amendment No~ 3o does
constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies
as illustrated on the General Plan.

NOW, THEREE~RE9 BE IT RESOLVm that the City Planning Commission of the
City of Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that subject General Plan Amendment be approved on the basis of the aforemen•tioned
findings and. in accordance, with Exhibit "A"e
