WEIEREAS, the City Planaing Commiasion of the City of AaaheIm did receive a vetifled Petition for Reclasai6ca.
Uoafrom FED-MART CORPORATION, 500 North Muller, Anaheim, California, Uwner of certain real
property situated in the CiCy of Anaheim, County af Orange, State of California, as described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full
; and
WHEREAS, the City Plenniag Commisaioa did hold e public heeeing at ffie City Hall in the City of pneheim on
August 31~ 1964~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly givm as required
by law aad ia accordaace aviW the provisioas of the Anaheim Mun;cipal Code, Chapter 18.72, to hear sad cansfdar e:q.

1. Thet the petitioner proposes a rec(asaiHcetion of the ebove deacribed property from the M-1~ Light
Industrial, Zone to the R-3, Mlultiple Family Residential, Zone to develop subject property
into eight R-3 1'ots.
2. That the pzoposed recla3sification is considered in con~unction with General Plan
Amendment No. 35.
3. That.the.proposed reclassification of subject property is not necessary and~or
desirable for the.orderly and proper de.velopment of the comanunity.
4. That the ~roposed reclassification would be incompatible to the existing M-1,
Light Industrial, Zone completely surrounding subject property.
5. That the proposed reclassification would establish.a precedent for multiple family
residential de~elopment for the balance o£ the undeveloped k-1 property in the north-
ceatra2 industria2 area.
6. That two persons appeared representing several industrial developments in close
proximity to subfect property and a letter was received in opposition to subject petition.
