A RESOLUfION OF THE CITY PLANNING ODMMISSION OF THE
OF THE CI?Y OF ANAHEIM REGDMMENDING TO THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE
CII'Y OF ANAHEIM THAT GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT l~q. 32 $E DISAPPROUFD
! WHFREAS, the City Council of the Ci:! of M aheim did adopt a General
' ~ Plan by Resulution No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent
of land uses within the City and indicating the present belief of the City
Council as to possible future development and redevelopment of land within
i the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive
a verified Petition for Reclassification No. 64-65-17, and Variance Noe 1657
,;.~ which petitions have implications on policies as expressed on said General
Plan; and
• WHEREAS, in con3unctioa with the notice of the hearing on said Reclassi-
fication and Variance, notice was also given regarding the consideration of
an amendment to the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of sub-
ject property of said reclassification and variance; and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the
City Hali in the City of Anaheim on August 17, August 31, and September 28,
1964, at 2:00 0'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly
~ given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, +o hear and consider evidence for and against said Amendment
to the General ~lan and said proposed Petition for Reclassification and
Variance to investigate and make findings and recom~endations in connectiun
~ therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and
stL,:~ made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIAID
1. That the present general description and extent of land
uses in the aforementioned area adequately represents
past and current City policies regarding possible future
~.j development of said general area described asr a line
a 150 fee+, east of Harbor Boulevard on the west, a line
{ 450 feet south of Vermont Avem~e on the south, a line 750
I feet east of Harbor Boulevard, on the east, and Vermont

~ 2. That no evidence was presented at sai8 hearing which would
justify the City Planning Commission recommending a change
in the above-ment•ioned pol?cies to the City Council:
3. That Exhibit "A" of General Plan Amendment no. 32 does not
; constitute an acceptable alternative to current policies
as illustrated on the General Plan. but should be considered
' at the annual review of the Plan.

NoMf, THL•REFORE, BE IT RESOLVm that the City Planning Commission
of the City of M aheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that subject General Pian Amendment be disapproved on the
basis of the aforementioned findings.
