A RFSOLUIION OF THE CITY PLANNING WMMISSYON OF THE CII'Y OF ANAHEIM
REWMMFNDING TO THE CITY ODIRJCIL OF i'HE CITY OF ANAHIIM THAT
GENEBAL PLAN-NdEN~6ENT N0. 50 BE DISAPPRUVm.
W1~REAS, the City Council of the City of Maheim did adopt a General Plan
by Resolution No. 63R-869, showing the ger~eral description and extent of land
uses within the City and indicating the present beliPf of the City Council as
to possible future development and redevelopment of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of M aheim did receive
verified Petitions for Reclassification No. 64-65-89 and Conditional Use Permit
No. 672, which petitions have implications on policies as expressed on said
General Plan; and
WHEREAS~ in con~unction with the notice of the hearing on said Reclassi-
fication and Conditional Use Permit, notice was aiso gi~ien regarding the con-
sideration of an amendment to the.General Plan in the general location and
vicinity of sub~ect property of said reclassification and conditional use
permit; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim on February 1, 1965, at 2:00 0'clock P.M.,
notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and
in.accordance with the provis3ons of the Maheim Municipal Code, to hear and
consider.evidence for and against said Amendment to the General Plan and said
proposed Petition for Reclassif ication and Conditional Use Perr,~it to investigate
and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commiss.ion after due inspection, investigation and study
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said hearing, DOES HE&FBY FIND
i. That the present general description and extent of land
uses in the aforementioned area adequately represents past
and current City Policies regarding possible future '
developmeni of said general area, bnunded by a line 150
feet west of East Street on the west, Sycamore Street on
the south, a line 150 feet east of East Street north to
a line 350 feet south of La Palma Avenue west to a line
950 feet east of East Street on the east and La Palma
Avenue on the north.
2. That no evidence was presented at said hearing which would
3ustify the City Planning Commission recommending a change
in the above-mentioned policies to the City Council.
3. That Exhibits A, B, and C of General Pian Amendment No. 50
does not constitute an acceptable alternative to current
policies as illustrated on the General Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Pianning Commission of the City
of Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that
sub3ect General Plan Amendment be r3isapproved on the basis of the atioreme~~tioned
fiudings.
