A RESOLUTION OF THE,CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAFiEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 64-65-115 gg APPRONED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commiseion of We City of Anaheim did initiate a verifiied Petitiort for
Reclassification on certain real property situated in the City o£ Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as described in Bxhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as
though set forth in full
Property owned bys Robert W. Stewart, Jre, 1795 West Orange Avenue, Anaheim, California.

April 26~ 1965, at 2:00 o'clock P.~I., notice of said pnbSc hoariag having been duly given as required
by law and in eccordence with the provieions of the Maheim Municipal Code, Chaptet 18.72, to hear aad consider evi-
dence for and egainat said propoeed reclessificetion and to inveetigate nnd mnke findings aad recommeadetioad 'n
connection therewith: and
WHEREAS, seid Commisaion, etta due inspecUon, inveaUgaUon, end study mede by itself ond in ita behelf,
end efter due conside~ation of all evideace and repoRs offered e! eatd headng, does fiad and detcKmine the following
fects:
1.Thatthe Planning Commission proposes the reclassification of the above described
property from the C-3, Heavy Gommercial, Zone deed restri!:ted to a service station or any
C-1 use as a conforming use in the C~1, 2oneo
2> That an amendment to the General Plan is deemed unne~~ssa.ry, because the size ,
of the parcel proposed fox reclassification would not generally affeCi the ~ity's policies
in this areao
3e That the present use of subject property is a service station within 75 feet of
R-1 zoned propertye
4, That the existing use was estatilished unde: Reciassification No~ 61~62-56~
5o That no one appeared in opposition to subject petition~

to the City Couacil of the Gty of Maheim Wat subiect Petitioa for ReclaealBcnUon be appeoved and, by so doing,
that Title 1&Zoaiag of the Aaaheim Muaidpal Code be ameeded to exclude the obove descdbed property fcom the
C-3, Heavy ~ommercial, Zone, and to incorporate said described property into the C-1, General
Commercial, Zone, unconditionallye .
