WHEREAS, the City Pianning Commission did receive a verified Petiiion for Reclassifi-
cation of one parcel from the R-1, One Family Residential, Zone to the C-1, General Commercial
Zone; ~d
WHERPAS, the City Planning Commission at Pubiic Hearing on Aprii i2, 1965, directed the
staff to prepare an azea development plan encompassing those single•family lots on the east
side of Euclid, northerly of Alomar Street for possible assembly and circulation recommendat-

INHEREAS, the City Pianning Commission did hold a pubiic hearing at the City Hall in the

NOW, THFREFOREq BE I? RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
recoam+ends to the City Council of the City of Anahe~m that Area Deveiopment Pian Noe 20,
Exhibit Nos~ A, 89 and C9 be disapproved; based on the fact that strip :ommerciai deveiopment
is undesirable; that C-0, Commerciai ~ffice Zoning is less des3rable for uti3izTng areas
along PI'imary hignways and that comme~cial and :residentiai use of a common alley wou;d be
detrimental ta the peace, health and safety of the i•esidents cf the area,
