A RESOLUfION OF THE CITY PLANNING ~MMISSION OF THE
!:ITY OF ANAHEIM REWMMEBIDING TO THE CITY OOUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT GENFRAL PLAN AMENDMENT NOe 58 BE DISAPPROVID
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Maheim did adopt a General
Plan by Resolution No~ 63R-869, showing the general description and extent
of land uses within the City and .indicating the present belief of the City
Council as to possible future deveiopment and redevelopment of land within
the City; and
WHFAFJIS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive
verif ied Petitions for Reclassification Noe 64-65-111, and Variance No~ 1697
whic~ petitions have implications on policies as expressed on said General
Plan; and
WHEREAS9 in c~njunction with the notice of the hearing on said Reclassi-
fication and Variance, notice was also given regarding the consideration of
an amendment to the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of
sub;ject property of said reclassification and variance; and
WtIFREASy the Ci~y Pianning ComTission did hold a pui.lic heazing at il-~e
City Hail in the City of Maheim on May 109 1965, at 2:00 0'clock PeM,,,
notice of said pubiic hearing having been duly given as required by law and
in ::cordance with the provisions of the M aheim Municipal Code to hear
and consider evidence for and dgainst said Amendment to the General Plan
and said proposed Petition for Reclassification and Variance to investigate
and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and
YYHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and
study made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of aIi
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, DOES HERFBY FIND
1~ That the present general description and ex+,ent of land
uses in the aforementioned area adequately represents
past and current City policies regarding possible future
development of said general area, descr:bed as: generally
bounded by a line 200 feet west of Eucl?.d Street on the
west, a line 200 feet north of Ball Road on the south, a
line 150 feet east of Euclid Street on the east, and
Broadway on the northo
2~ Tfiat no eviderce was presented at said hearing which would
justify the City Planning Commission recommending a change
in the above-mentioned policies to the City Councilo
3o That Exhibit "A" of General Plan Amendment No. 58 does
not cons4itute an acceptable alternative to current 'q
policies as illustrated on the General Plane '

NC:~, THEREFORE, BE IT RE90LVID that the City Planning Commission
of the City of Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the
~it~~ of Anaheim that subject General Plan Amendment be disapproved on the
basis of the aforementianed findings.~
