facta:
1. T at he petitioner requestc a variance from the Anaheim Municipai Codes Section
1A~62o090(~b-2~ which requires that the maximum..height of a free-standing si n shall be ~5 feet
to permit the construction of a freeway-oriented sign of 45 feet; Sec ion 1 062>090(b-1 wfiich
limits the number of free-standing signs peitnitted; Section 18D62v090~b-4-a which limits the
maximum area of each face of a free-standing sign; and Section 18,62e090(b-1) which limits the
minimum distance between a free-standing and a roof sign - 300 feet required and 70 feet is
proposed on subject propertye
2. 'Ihat the request for waiver of Codes Section 18.62.090(b-1) "Number of Free-Standinq
Siqns" is hereby d~nied based on the fact that the Code permits a sufficiently iarge direc,t~
iunal signo

Petltion for Vedance, upon the following conditions which ere hereby found to be a aecessery prerequiaite to the pro-
posed use of the subject pmperty in order to preserve the sefery and generel welfare of the Citizens ~f the Ciry oE
Meheim.
NOW9 TNEREFORE9 BE IT RESOLYED that +he Commission does hereby deny request for waiver
of Sectien '18062o09~(b-1) "Numbex• of F.ree-Standing Signs" based on the fact that said Code
Section provides fos sufPiciently ?arge directional signsa .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Commission does hereby grant the remainder of Petition
for Variance~ ,
