A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOA~OHENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF 64E65 12~F ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. BE APPROVED
WHEREAS the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did initiate a verified
Petition for Reclassification on certain real property situated in the Gity of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as beginning at the intersection of a line
parallel with and distant Southerly 50.00 feet, as measured at right angles, from the center
line of La Palma Avenue, with a line parallel with ar.d distant Westerly 34.75 feet, as measured
at right angles, from the center line of Harbor Boulevard, formerly Palm Street, adjoining
said land on the East; thence Southerly along said last mentioned parallel line, 140 feets
thence Westerly at right angles to said Harbor Boulevard center line, 140 feet; thence North-
erly at right angles to a point on said first mentioned parallel line; thence Easterly,
parallel with said La Palma Avenue center line, 145 feet to the point of beginning

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold e public headng et the City Hell in the City of Aneheim on
May lU, 1965~ et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notlce of said public headng heving been duly given es required
by lew end in eccordence with the provisions of the Meheim Mnnicipal Code, Chapter 18.72,to hear end coaeiderevi-
dence for and ageinst seid proposed recleasification end to investigate end make findings end cecommendetiona in
rnnnection therewith: end
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inapection, investigation, end atudy mede by itself end !n its behelf,
end after due consideretion of ell evidence and repods offered at said headng, doen fiad end detecmine the following
fects:
1.Thetthe planning Commission proposes the reclassification of the above described
property f.rom the G1, General Commercial, and R-3, Multiple Family Residential, Zones
within 75 feet of .multiple family residences9 to the C-1, General Cummercial, Zone.
2o That an amendment to the General P1an is deemed unnecessary, because the size of
the parcel proposed far reclassification would not generally affect the City's policies
in this areae

NQW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Pl~nning Commission does heceby recommend
to the City Council of the City of Aneheim thet aubject Petition for Reclaeai6caUon be approved and, by so doing,
t6et Title 1&Zoning of the Aneheim Municipal l:ode be amended to exclude the above described pcoperty from the
C-1. General Commercial, and R~3, Multipleā¢-Family Residential, Zones, and to incorporate
said described property into the C-1, General Commercial, Zone, unconditionally~
