(a) FRONT SETBACK All properties abutting a public street ~

(c) UINDSCAPING. La~~dscaping shall consist of lawn, trees, shrubs, etc.
All landscape areas shall be permanently maintained in a ne.~t and
orderly manner as a condition of use and shall be provided with hose
bibbs, sprinklers or similar permanent iriigaiion facilities.
1. Landscape Plan Review The locatian of all peripheral and in-
terior landscapina shall be sho~vn on a plo~t plan and shall be
st,bject to review by the Development Services Uepartr,ient.
2. Front Setback Area. 7'he following archi~tctural featu~es,
structures, and accessways may be permitted in the required
setback area:
ao Fountains, ponds, sculpture, planters, and walkways (open
or covered) where they are an inteqral part of a landscaping
scneme cemprised priinarily of plant materials~
b. Decat•ative screeen type walls, not exceeding thirty inches

c. Where an arterial highway or freeway is elevated fifi:een feet
(15 ft_) or more above the adjacent industrial property, all
visible parking or vehicular storage areas within four hundred
feet (4U0 ft ) of the arterial highway or freeway shall be
planted and maintained with trees at a ratio of at least one
tree for every 10,000 square feet of area within said four

4. Sidewalk Waivers In those industrial areas wh?re applicants have
been granted temporary sidewalk wai~~ers, the landscaping shall
extend to the curb. Any trees shall be located so as not to con-
flict with potential sidewalks. Plant materials within the public
ri.ght-of-way, witti the exception oi trees, sha:l not exceed thirty
inches (30 in.) in height.
