A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 1R34 gE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a veriEied Petition for Verience from
CLIFFORD WOiFSWINKEL, VILLAGE CEtJTF13, 1210 South Brookhurst, Anaheim, Califo~nia, Owner;
H. WEIMER, 1121 West Struck Street, Orange, California, Agent of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, Siate of California, described as Lot 1 and the West
half of Lot 2 of Tract No. 162, as per map recorded in book 12 page 6 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the county recorder of said county

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
October 10, 1966 at 2:00 o clock P.M., notice of seid ublic hearin havin been dul
]aw and in accordance witi~the provisions,of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and cons der evidence or
and against said p~oposed variance and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith;
and
14HEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find and determine the following
fncts:
1. That the petitioner requests a variance from the Anaheim Municipel Code: !o permit the remodeling of
existing free-standino signs on subject property:
SECTION 1F~~62.090(B-1) - Number of free-standing signs permitted. (2 permitted -
3 proposed)
SECTION 1R.62.090(B-2) - Height of free-standing signs. (25-foot maximum heignt
within 300 feet of a residential structure permitted:
35-foot for Sign "B" and 40-foot ior Sign "A" proposed)
SECTION 1Re62.090(B-4-b) - Area of free-standino signs. (N~aximum permitted 350 square
feet; Sign "A" - 437 square feet proposed)

3. That the requested variance is r.ecessary for the preservation and enioyment of a
substantial propert~. right possessed b~ other property in the shme vicinity and zone, and
denied to the property in question.
4, That the requested variance will not be materiaily detrimental to the public
welfare or ir,jurious to the property or improvements ~n such vicinity and zone in which tiie
property is located.
5. That no one appeared in opposition to subject petit;on.

NOW, TNEF2EFORE, 13E IT RESOLVED thet the Aneheim City Planning Commission does hereby gcant subject
Petition for Variance, upon the following conditions which ere hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject p:operty in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of
Aaaheim.
lo That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans
and specifications on file H~ith the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit Nos, 1, 2, and 3.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed end epproved by me this 20th day of October, 1966.
