A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY GF ANANEIM RECOMMEVDING
TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT ALL PROCEEDIIJGS ON
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT N0. 88 BE TERMINATED
WHEREAS, the City Flanning Commission on October 10, 1966 in Resolution No. PC66-122
, recommended to the City Council that General Plan Amendment No. 88 be a
the Circulation Element Highway Rights-of-way by establishing JeffersonPStreet, between9
the Riverside Freeway and Santa Ana Canyon Road as a Primary Arterial; and
WHEREAS, further investigation by the Staff indicated that when the City Council
adopted the Hill and Canyon General Plan in Resolution No. 66R-364 dated May 24, 1966,
Jefferson Street was upgraded to a Primary Arterial; and
WHEREAS, said action on the Hill and Canyon General Plan accomplished the same
purpose as General Plan Amendment No. 88 proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planniag Commission of the City of
Anaheim does hereby recommer.d to the City Council o: the City of Anaheim that all pro-
ceedings on General Plan Amendment No. 88 be terminated on the basis of the foregoing
findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 3rd day of November,
1966.
