WHEF.EAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hell in the City of Anaheim on
November 21~ 1966, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice ef said public hearing having been duly given as required by
lew end in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18.64, to hear and consider evidence
for and ageinst said proposed conditional use end to investigete end make findings and recommendetions in connection
therewith; end
l','tiEREAS, said Commission, efter due inspection, investigetion, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due considetation of all evidence end reports offered et seid hearing, does Eind and determine the Eollowing facts:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditional Use Permit is authorized by this Code, to wit:
Section 18.64.U20(3-f) - construct a billboard wit}~~;iaivers of:
SECTIOtJ 1R.63.040(b) - maximum display area (3G0 square feet permitted; 044
feet proposed) and billboard i:eight (31 feet permitted;
36 feet propos~dj on subject property.

2. T}~at the proposed use will adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the
residential area in close proximity of the proposed sign.
3. Tt~at the proposed sign m~aivei•s would set a precedent for similar iequasts for
large billboards along arteriai streets and highvaays in ti;e Cily, and ~.a•oulri have a
deleterious effect on the appearance of these streets.
4, That no need was demonst:rated `or tl~e larger size billbo~rd, ar~d +.ha! ti.a

Petition for Conditional Use ?ermit on the besis of the eforementioned findings.
