THP.T PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 865 BE GRANTED
, WHEREAS, the City Planning CommIss:on of the City of Meheim did receive e verified PetiUon for Conditionel
Use Permitfrom AARON E. SWAIN, SR., 2029 South Harbor Eoulevard, Anaheim, California, Owner
of c,ertain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as described in Exhibit "A" attached 'neretu and referred to herein as though
set forth in full

August 1, 1966, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hcaring heving been duly givrn as required by
law and in acrntdence with the provisions of the Meheim Municipai code, Chepter 18.64, to heat end conelder evidence

WHEREAS, seid Commission, after due inspection, investigeiion, end study mede by itself end in Ita behelt, and
after due consideretion of all evidmce and reporta offered et seld hearing, does find end determine the foilowing fects:
1. That the propoaed use is properly one for whlch a Conditionel .Uae Petmit is euthorized by Code:
Section 18.64,020(5) to permit the expansion of an existing motel and to construct a
restaurant on subjACt property.
2. 1'hot the proposed use will not edverscly eF(~ the edjoining lend uses end the gro~ ~d developmmt of
the erea in which it is proposed to be loceted.
3• That the size end shape of the aite proposed for the use is edequate to allow the full development of the
proposed use in e menner not detrimentel to the particuler erea nor to the peace, health, aefety, and gMerel wel(are
of the Citizens of the City of Meheim.
4. That the grenting of the Conditionel Use Permit under the conditions imposed, if eny, Will not be detrimcntel
to the peace, health, sefety, end generel welfere af the Citizens of the Clty of Anehelm.

NOW, THEREFGRE, BE IT RESOLVED th3t the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hPreby
grant subject Petition for Conditional Use Permit, upon the following conditions which are
hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the proposed use of the subject property in
ordei to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim:
1. That the owners of subiect property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a st:ip of
land 60 feet in width, from the centerline of the street, along Harbor Boulevard, for
street widening purposes.
2> That street in~provAment plans shall be prepared and all engine~ring requirements
of the City of Anaheim along Harbor Boulevard, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
gra9ing and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenen± work shall be completed as
ree~ired by t~ie City 'cngineer and in accordance with standard plans and specificat?ons on
fi:e in the office or the City Engineer; and that a bond in an amount and form satisfactory
tc thE~ Ciiy cf Anaheim shall be posted with the City to guarantee the installation of said
er~gineering reouirementse
3,. That the owners cf subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of

10. That any air-conditioning facilities proposed shall b~ properly shielded from view
from abutting streets~
11, That Condition tJos. 6, 7, and 10, above montioned, shall be complied with prior to
final building and zoni~g inspections.
12o That subject propert~~ shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans
