WHEREAS, the City Planning Commissian did hold a public heacing at the City Hall in the City of pnaheim on
May 8y 196~9 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required
by 13w and in accordance with the ~:ovisions of the Aneheim Municipal Code, Ci~apter 18.72, to hear and consider evi-
dence for and against said proposed reclassification and to investigate and make findings and re.:ommendations in
cor.l,~ction therewith: and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the fullowing
facts:
1. That the petitioner propuses a reclassification of the above described property f:om the R-A~ AGRICULTURAL
ZONE to tne R-3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTlAL, ZGRE to establisn a 45-unit apartment com-
plex en subjeci property~
2~ That tha proposed reclassi;ication is not in conformar,ce with the General Plar. how-
ever, its implication to the GEneral ~lan will 'oe considered at the next annual revievao
3, That the proposed Reclassificatien of subject property would oroject two-story de-
velopment within 5~-feet o` a single-family subdivision development and viill havz an ad•
verse e`fect on the residential ir.tegrity of the area.
4. That sub,7ect property can be subdivided to develop in oart or in total witn s~rnle-
family nomes as ~f~as intended when Hayward Street xas stuUbed to the soutn property
line of suUject property~
5, Tnat wiien tne single-family residential tract imm2diately to the soutn was developed
less tnan two years ago, a decision was maoe `or tne uitimate extension of i~ayward
Avenue nortcer~y and Na?liday A•,~ens~e to t~e west so that the existi.~g anti `uture single-

the zones znd their permit.ted uses loca:ly estahiished in close proximity to subject
property and their permitted uses generaily established throughout the cornmunityo
8o That 3 oersons appeared, one o: who represented 20 persons present in the Council

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby recommend
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that subject Petition for Reclassification be denied on the basis of the
aforementioned findings.
