RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 66-67-46 BE GRANT,ED

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ana ;eim did initiate a verified Petition
for Reclassification on certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described in £xhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as
though set forth in ful:

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hell in the City of pnaheim on
January 16 ~ 1967, at 2:00 o'clock P.M11., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required
by law and in accordance with the provisions oE the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.72, to hear and consider evi-
dence for and egainst said proposed reclassification and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in
connection therewith: and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
1. Thatthe Planning Commission proposes a reclassification of the above described proper~y
known as the Rinker Ar.nexation ~o. 2, from the R-A, Agricultural, Zone (interim) to the
R-2 5000, One Family Residential, Zone.
2. That the proposed reclassification is in conformance with the General Pian as amended
by General Plan Amendmeni: No. R7.
3. That the propo<_ed reclas=_ification o: subject. ~roperty is necessary andjor riesirable
for the orderly and proper development of the community.
4. That the proposed reclassi,`ication of subject property does properly relate to the
zones and their permitted uses local:y established in close proximity to =ubject property
~nd to the zones ond their permitted uses generally established throughout the .;ommunity.
5. That the proposed reclassification of subject property reGuires the dedication and
improvement oz abutting streets in accordance with the Circulation Element of the General Plan,
due to ~.:• anticipated increase in traffic which will be generated by the itensification o:
land use.
6. Thzt no one aopeared in opposition to subject petition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED th~t the Anaheim City Pl~nning Commission does hereby recommend
to the City CouncIl of the City of Anaheim th~t aubject Petition for Reclaesi~eation be approved and, by so doing,
tl~at TiUe 18-Zc;aing of the Aneheim Municipel Code be amended to e:clude the ~bove descrIbed property from the
R-A, Agricultural, Zone and to incorporate said described property into the R-2 5000, One
Family, Zone, upon the following conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary pre-
requisite to the proposed use of subject property in order to preserve the safety and general
welfare of the citizens of the City of Anaheim.
1. That a Final Tract Map of subject property be approved by the City Council and recorded
in the office of the Drange County Recorder.
2. That the owner(s) of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of
525.00 per dwelling unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes, scid amount to be paid
at the time the building permit is issued.
