~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE C1TY OF ANAHEItd
RECOMMEtJDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
f THAT GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT N0. 96 BE DISAPPROVED

~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by
Resolution No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of land uses within
the City and indicating the present belief of the Council as to possible future develop-
ment and redevelopment of land within the City; and
WI-IEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified
Petition for Conditior~al Use Permit Noa 948, which petition has implications on policies
~,_„~~ as expressed on said G?neral Plan; and

,'{ WHEREAS, in addition to the notice of hearing on said reclassification, notice was
;i also given regarding the consideration of an amendment to the General Plan in the general
~'I location and vicinity of sub,ject property of said reclassification; and
~ `I~ WHEREAS, the City Planniny Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in
~. the City of Hnaheim on June 19 and July 6, 1967, at 7:00 o'clock P,M~, notice of said
~ public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the pro-
~ - visions of the AnaSeim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for ar,d c~ainst
j said Amendment to the General Plan, and said proposed Petition for Conditional Use Permit,
to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and

'~ WI-]EREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study made by
',i itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all eviderce and reports offered
i at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND
~ 1. That the present general description and extent of land uses in the afore-
mentioned area adequately represents past and current City policies regarding
, possible future development of said general area, described as:
bounded on the north by South Street, on the east by Sunkist Street, on
i the south by Ball Road, and on the west by State College Boulevard.
2. That no evidence was presented at said hearing which would justify the City
Planning Commission recortunending a change in the abovementione~ policies to
the City Council.
' 3. :hat Exhibits "A", "B", "C", "D", "E", and "F" do not constitute acceptable
~ alternatives to current policies as illustrated on the General Plane
~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission of the City of
[; Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that subject
General Pian Amendment be disapproved on the basis of the aforementioned findings.
