THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 1900 BE DENIED
;~~ WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Varience from
Lon Beach California 90802, Owner; WP.LTER BROOKS,

F j NHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hell in the City of Anaheim on
~ July 31, 1967, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing heving been duly given as required by
I iaw and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.66, to hear and consider evidence for
~ and against said proposed variance and to investigate and meke findings and recommendations in connection therewith;
and

! NHEREAS, seid Commission, after due inspection, investigation, end study made by itself and in its behalf,
~ and aEter due consideration of all evidence and repoRs offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following

~ 1. That the petitioner requests a veriance from the Aneheim Municipal Code: to oermit the erection o: a
~~ _ roof sign.

~I 3. That the requested variance is not necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a
;-~ substantial property right nossessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and

~~•. 4. That subject property is more than adequately signed und~r Variance >lo. 1846 (3 existing
~ ~t free-standing signs were aoproved) so that prosoective car purchasers may easily locate the

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Ptanning Commission does hereby deny subject
Petition fur Variance on the basis of the aforementioned findings.
