WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearina at the City Hail in
the City of Anaheim on S eptember 13, 1967, at 2:00 0'clocv P.M., notice of said oublic hearino
having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions oi the
Anaheim Municipal Code9 Chapter 18,72, to hear and consider evidence for and aosinst szid
proposed reclas=_ification and to investiaate and make findings and recommendatieri= in c:onnect••
ion therewith; and
WHEREAS9 said Commission, after due inspection, investioation, and study made by itseir"
and in iis behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offer?d at =aid
hearing, does .`ind and determine the fo ll owing facts:
1, That the Commission proposes a reclassification of the above described property :rom
the R-•A, Agricultural, Zone to the R-•1, One Family Residential, Zone to place the oroperty
in the most aporopriate zone.
2o That the prooo=ed reclassi.`ication of sub',ect pronerty is in conformance w•ith the
Genera] Plan.
3. That the proposed reclassification of subiect property is necessar, and,"or desirable
:or the orderly and orooer develonment of the communit~.
4. That the oroposed reclassifi.cation of subject. property does aroperly relate to
the zones anp their permitted use=_ locally established in close proximity to subiect prooerty
and to the zones and their permitted uses generally establi=hed throughout the communit~~.
5. That ihe Commission in initiating this oetition tvill elir~inate fees and time involved
ir. rezoning the property to the R-1 Zone should the larger parcels be prooosed :or lot solit
or further development for singie family homes, or the expansion o.` the existina residen~es.
