A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 1R52 BE DENIED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Varience from
BEULAH B, WpTSON, 701 N. Elm Drive, Beverly Hills, California, Owner; ATLA,'~ITIC RICHFIr.LD OJ., 17R6
6Y. Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, California, Agents of certain real property situated in the City of Anahein,
County of Orange, State of California, described as Parcel 1: That oortion o: the northeast quarter
o~ the northwest quarter of section 13, Township 4 South, Range 11 VJest, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
as per map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in ihe office of the County Recorder
of said county. Beginnino a`. the int2rsection of the East line of said northeast quorter with the

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim on
February 15, 1967 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice oE said public hearing having been duly given ss required by
law and in accordence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider evidence for
and ageinst said proposed vatiance and to investigate and make findings and xecommendations in connection therewith;
and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inspection, investigetion, end study made by itself end in its behalf,
and efter due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find and detecmine the follawing
facts:
1. That the petitioner requests a variance from the Aneheim Municipal Code:
SECTION 18.62.090(B-2) - hlaximum permitted sign heioht (25 feet oermitteo
29 feet 10 inches proposed).
2. That there are no exceptional or extraoroinary circumstances or conditions app:icable
to the prooerty involved or to the intended use o; the oroperty t.hat do not aoply oenerally
to the property or class of use in the sarne vicinity and zone.
3. That the requested variance would provide the petitioner wit:~ oniy a temporary
reliefirom the obstruction of trees to the west during the time the deciuious trae=_ ware
defoliated, which relief woulo be lost after tne trees lea~ed ou~, anti to crant subject
aetition would be establishing a precedent `or similar requeets rrom otner developed
oroperties in close proximity requestina similar sian vraivers.

Petition for Varience on the basis of the aforementioned Eindings.
