A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 1871 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive a verified Petition for Variance
from M. J, AND MARJORIE GOBERT, 431 I4orth Maanolia, Anaheim, California, Owr,ers; COVINGTON
BROTHERS COIJSTRUCTION COMPANY, 841 North Harbor Aoulevard~ Anaheim, Cali:ornia 92805, Agents
of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the Czty Hell in the City of Anaheim
on April 24S i967~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public heering having been duly given as required
by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider
evidence for and against said proposed veriance and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commissi~n, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due consideration of alt evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:

2. That there are exceptional or extraordinary circumstences or conditions eppliceble to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the property or class of use in the same vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested veriance is necessary• for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right
possessed by other property in the seme vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question.
4. That the requested variance will not be materially detrimentel to the public welfare or injurious to the pmp-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Aneheim City Planning Commission does hereby grant subject
Petition for Veriance, upon the followin~ conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of
Anaheim.
1. That this variance is granted subject to the completion of Reclassification No.
66-67-59.
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of
$25v00 per dwelling unit, to be used for park and recreation purooses, said amount to be paid
at the time the building permit is issued.
3. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordence with approved plans on
file with the office of the Director of Public Works.
: 4, Tnat fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determ=ne~ to be necessary
by the Chief of the Fire Deoartment.
5. ihat Condition Nos. 3 and 4, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to final
building and zoning inspection,
