WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by Resolutior.
No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of land uses v~ithin the City and
indicating the present be~ief of the Counci~ as to oossible future develooment ano redeveloo-
ment of land within the City; and
WHE~EAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified
°etition for Reclassification ~10. 67-68-63, which petition has imolications on policies
as expressed on said General P!an; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the notice of the hearing on said Reclassification notice was
also given regarding the conideration of an Amendment to the General Plan in the general
location and vicinity of ~ubject oroperty of szid Reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing in the City Hall in
the City of Anaheim on April a, 1°68, at 7:30 o'clock P.N~., notice of said oublic nearing
ha~~in9 been duly given as required by law and in accordance v~ith tha pravisions of the
Anzheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence `or and agarnst said amendment to the
General Plan, and szid orooosed Petition :or Reclassification, to investigate and make
findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and
WHEREAG, said Commission a`ter due insoection, investioation, and study made by itsel:
and in its behaif, and after due consideration of a11 evidence and reports offered at said
hearino. DOES HEREBY FI~ID
1. That evidence wa=_ presented at s,~id hear:nq ~,vhich justifies the City Planninu
Commission's recommendinq to t~.e City Council a change in the present eeneral
descrintion and extent o; land uses in the area as folio~a•s:
An area bounded on the west by Euclid Street. on the north approximatel;
100 f2et south of Cris Aver.ue, on the east by a point aoproximately 100
feet west of i.oara and Stoneman Streats; and or the south be a noint annrnx~-
niateiy i~v ieet north o,~ Sumac Lane.
2. That cxnii.it "A" of General Plan Amenoment i~o. 98 ooes constitute an acc~ot-
able alt2rnative to current policies as illustrated on the General ?lan.
iv0'N, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEU that the City Plannina Commission does nereby recommen~:
to the City Council of the City of P.~aheim thzt subject General Plan Amendment be approved
on the basis of the aforementioned findinas, and in accordance with Exhibit "A".
