WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
July. 1~ 1968~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public hesring having been duly given as required by
law end in accordence with the provisions of the Anaheim Munir.Epel code, Chepter 18.64, to hear and consider evidence
for and a~atnst said proposed conditional use and to investigete and m ake findings and recomm endetions in connection
therewith; ani:
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspectian, invesiigetion, and study made by itself and in its behalf, and
after due considetetion of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and detecmine the followingfacts:
1: Thet the pmposed use is pcoperly one for which a Conditional Use Pecmit is euthorized by this Code Section
18.64.020(2-b) to wit: permit a rest home in an existing residential structure on subject
property:
2. Thet the proposed use will not edversely affect the adjoining laad uses and the growth end development of
the area in which it is proposed to be located.
3, That the size and shepe of the site proposed for the use is adequete to allow the full development of the
pmposed use in a menner not detrimentel to the particular erea not to the, peace, health, safety, and general welfere of
. the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
4. Thet the granting of the Conditional IIse Pecmit under the conditions imposed. if any, will not be detrimental
to the peace, health, sefety, and general welfate of tha Citizens of the City of Meheim. ~
' 5. That the.Com.mission recommends to.the City ~ouncil that the petitioner be granted
permission for .temporary use.of the westerly accessway, since the requirement of completion
of Rec.lassification No. 67-68-68 requires dedication of access rights.to La Pa1ma Avenuz, to
the City of Anaheim except as permitted under the Specific Plan of Access, until substantial
expansion or construction has t~aken place on subject property. ;

Pefitlon for Condltion~l IJse Pttm;t, upon the following conditions ahich are hereby found to be a neceasary pcerequisite
to the proposed use of the subJect property fn order to preserve the s~fety and `~nenl aelEare of the Citisens of the
Clty of Anrh~im:
1. That this conditional use permit is granted subject to the completion of Reclassification
No. 67-68-68. .
2. That any air-conditioning facilities proposed shall be properly shielded from view,
and the sound shall b~ buffered from ad3acent residential homes.
3.' That the. owner of subj ect property shall dedicate all access rights to La Palma Avenue
to the City of Anaheim, except aa permittEd under the Specific Plan of Access.
4. That Condition Nos. 2 and 3, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to final
_ building and zoning inspections.
