1. That the proposed wt ta pmperly one for which ~ Conditiond Use Permit i~ authorized by Code:
Szction 18.64.020(2-c) to wit: establish a 129-unit, three-story motel, with waiver
of:
SECTION 18.40.070~3-a) - Maximum b~jdina h,g~ght within 150 f~gt of sinale-

building separai:ion required; 44-foot building separation
proposed between the R-A property and the proposed
development).
2. That the petitioner is proposing all units ovith kitchen facilities, which would
be granting him a privilege not enjoyed by the majority of other motels throughout the
City, therefore, the Commission grants only 1096 of the units be fu*nished with kitchen
facilities.
3. That the proposed use will not adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the
growth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located.
4. That the size and shape of the site proposed for the use is adequate to a11ow
the full development of the proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the particular
axea.nor to the peace, health, saf ety and general welfare of the ~itizens of the City
of Anaheim.
5. That the granting of the Conditional Use PermiC under the conditions imposed,
if any, will not be detrimental to the peace, health, safety and general welfare of the
Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
6. That waiver.of the required building setback of 50-f eet to permit a 44-foot
building setback along the west proper':y line is hereby granted under authority of
Section 18.64.070.

NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Anaheim City Plenning Commission does hereby grent subject
Pefition for Conditionel Use Permit, upon the followIng conditions which ere hereby fou~d to be e necessary prGrequiaite
to the proposed uae af the subject property in order to preserve the sefety end generel welfere afthe Citizens of the
City of Anaheim:
~ 1. That trash storage areas shall be prpvided in accordance with approved plans on file
with the office of the Director of Public Works.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by
the Chief of the,Fire Department.
3. That an adequate turn-around at the south end of the subject property shall be
provided as determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department.
4. That parking areas shall be lighted with down-Tighting a'maximum six feet in height
and shall be directed away from the property_lines to nrotect the residential integrity of
the area~
5. That Condition Nos.. 1, 2, 3, and 4, above mentioned, shall be complied with~~prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
6. That ihis conditional use permit is granted subject to the corc~pletion of Reciassi-
fication No. 66-67-30.
7. That Subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans:and
specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, pro-
v3ded however, that an adequate turn-around at the south end of the property is provided, and
further provided, that only 10~ of the units are equipped with kitchen :acilities.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed end approved by me this 25th day of July~ 1968.
