A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMLlENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATTON N0. 67-68-49 gg pppROVED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the C:ity of Anaheim did receive a verified Petitian for Reclessifica-
tion from S.I.R. DEVEI.OPNENT OJMPANY, INCORPORATED, 1314 South Brookhurst Street, Anaheim,
California 92804, Owner of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Oranga, State of California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein
as though set forth in full
: and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
January 15~ 1968~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of seid public hearin~; having been duly given es required by
law and in accordence with the provisions of the Anaheim htunicipal Code, Chxpter 18.72, to hear and consider evidence
for and against said pioposed reclassification end to investigete and make findings and recommendetions in connec[ion
therewith; aad
WHEREAS, said Commission, aEter due inspection, investigation, and study made by itselE and in its behalf, end
after due consideration of all evidence end reports offered at seid hearing, does find and determine the following fects:
1. That the petitioner proposes a reclassificetion of 2he ebove described property from the R-1~ One Family
Residential, Zone to the R-2, Multiple Family Residential, Zone.
2. That the scope of the proposed reclassification, if approved, does not werrant an
amendment to the General Plan at the present time, however, its relationship to the General
Plan symbol will be considered at the next annual review.
3, That the proposed reclassification of subject property is necessery and/or desireble !or the orderly and pro-
per development oi the community.
4. That the proposed reclassificetion af subject property does properly relate to the zones and their permitted
uses locally established in close proximity to subject property and to the zones and their permitted uses generally estab-
lished throughout the community.

NOW, '1'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED th~t the Anaheim City Pl~nning Commts~ion doea he:eby recommend
to the Clry Council of the City of Maheim that subject Pedtion for Recla~sl9catlon be epproved aad, by ao doInQ,
thnt Title 18-Zoning of the Anaheim MunIcip~l Code be ~mended to e:clude thc obove deacdbed proparty from the
R-1~ One Family Residential, Zone and to incorporate said described property ~nto the R-2,
Multiple Family Residential, Zone, upon the following conditions which are hereby found to be a
necessary prerequisite to the proposed use of subject property in order to preserve the safety
and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Anaheim.
1. That a Fina'1 Tract Map of subject property be approved by the City Council and recorded
in the office of tne Orange County Recorder.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to •the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00
per dwelling unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes, said amount *_o be paid at the
time the Building Permit is issued.
