A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF AA!AHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 2006 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive e verified Petition for Verience
from WILLIAM F. JAMFS, 1701 Dalias Drive, Anaheim, California 92804, O~mer; LANGE TNDUSTRIES,
INCORPORATED, 1542 West Embassy Street, Anaheim, California 92802, Agent of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as Lot Noo 17
of Tract No. 2689
; and
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hell in the City of Aneheim
on August 26~ 1968~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public hearing having been duly given as required
by lew end in accordence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.68,to hear and consider
evidence fot end against seid proposed variance and to investigate and meke findings and recommendetiuns in connec-
tion therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigetion, and study made by itself and in its behelf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
1. That the petitioner requests e veriance fcom the Anaheim Municipal Code as follows~ in order to
establish an existing room addition as a.conforming use, and to permit an additional room
addition:
SECTIOIV 18a24.030(2) - Minimum reauired side vard setback. (5-f eet requiredg 0,_
feet proposed).
2. That there are exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generelly to the property or cless of use in the same vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested varience is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right
possessed by other property in the seme vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question.
4. Thet the requested variance will not be meterially detrimental to the public welfate or injurious to the pmp-
erty or imp:ovements in such vicinity and zone in which the propedy is located.
5. That the Southern Pacific Railroad Company has indicated in a letter that they
have no immediate plans for the sale or development of the adjoining property to the north
nor do they have any opposition to the existing and proposed addition.

NOW, THEREFOR~, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Anaheim City Plenning CommIssion does hereby grant subject
Petition for VarIance, unconditionally.
