A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF TIiE CITY OF ANAHEiM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIArCE N0. 2010 H~ GRANTED •
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Verience
from HARTMANN CORFORATION, 109 South Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim, California 92805, 0~~~ PHILLIP
~ QUARRE, 109 South Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim, California 52805, Agent of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described in.Exhibit "A"
- attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full

WHEREAS, the City Pianning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim
on August 26~ 1968~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given es required
by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68,to hear and consider
evidence for end egainst said proposed verience a~td to investigate and make fIndings and recommendetions in connec-
tion therewith; artd
WliEREAS, said Commissiort, after duP inspection, investigation, end study mede by itself end in its behelf,
and efter due consideration of ail evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and d•atermine the following
facts:
1. That the petitioner reqaests e varience from the Anaheim Municipel Code as follows~ to permit the
establishment of an industrial warehouse on subject propertys

2. That there ere exceptional or extreordinary circumstences or conditions epplicable to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the property or class of use in the same vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested veriance is necessery for the preservation and enjoyment of a substential property right
possessed by other property in the seme vicinity and zone, end denied to the property in question.
4. That the requested variance will not be meterielly detrimental to tne public welfete or injurious to the pmp-
erty or imptovements in such vicinity and zone in which the ptopecty is located.

NOW, TY.EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Aneheim City Planning :ommission does hereby grant subject
Petition for Variance, upon the following conditions which are hereby found to bc a necessary prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject property in order to p~eserve the safety and general welfare ofthe Citizens ofthe City of
Anaheim:
1. That the owner of subject property shall deed to the City of An;,heim a strip oF land ~
45 feet in width from the centerline of the street along ManchQster Avenue, for street widening ;
purpo5es.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of 15¢ per ~
front foot along Manchester Avenue and Adams Street, for tree planting purposes. ~
.3. Ihat the owner of subject property shall pay to the City ofAnaheim the sum of $2000 per I
front foot along Manchester Avenue and Adams Street, for street lighting purposes.
4. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved pians on file ~-
with the office of the Director of Public Works.
5. That~any air-conditioning facilities proposed shall be properly shielded from view. ~~
6. That Condition Nos. 1, 2, and 3, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to the
time that the Building Permit is issued or within a period of 180 days from date hereof, which~ ~
ever. occurs first, or such further time as the Commission or City Council may grant.
7. That.Condition Nos. 4 ahd 5, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to final
building and zoning inspections.
8. That subje~t'property shall be developed substantially in accordence with plans and x
specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit Nos, 1, 2, and 3. ~
