PC 68-290A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEiM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 2018 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a veriflied Petition for Varience
from LA HABRA COLD STORAGE, INCORPORATED, P. 0. Box 549, Fullerton, California 92632~ Owner of
certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange9 State of California,
described in £xhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in ful.l
; and
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Aneheim
on September 239 1968, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearinghaving been duly given as required
by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.68, to hear and consider
evidence for and egainst seid proposed variance and to invesugate and meke findings and recommendations in connec-
Qion therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its behalf,
and after due considerotion of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does Eind and determine the following
facts:
1. That the petitioner requests a varience from the Anaheim Municipal Code as follows, to permit the
outdoor storage of pailets:
SEGTION 18~52.060(3-b) - Enclosure of outdoor storaae areas. (A 6-foot masonry wall
enclosing outdoor uses required; no wall proposed}.
2. That there are exceptional or extraordinary circumstances or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to the intende3 use of the property that do not apply generelly to the property or class of use in the seme vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial propedy right
possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and denied to the ptoperty in question.
4. That the requested variance will not be meterially detrimental to the public welfate or injurious to the pro~
erty or impcovements in such vicinity and zone in which the ptoperty is located.

NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Aneheim City Planning Commission daes hereby grant subject
Petition for Variance, upon the Eollowing conditions which are hereby [ound to be a necessary prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject property in order to 'preserve the sefety and general welface of the Citizens of the City of
Anaheim.
"' le That trash.storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans o;~
file with the.office of the Director of Public.Works.
2. That all storage of pallets shall be to the west of the existing str.ucture, and
shall be maintained a minimum.of 20 feet from'the structure in accordance with requirements
of the City of Anaheim Fire Department. .
3. That storage of the pallets.along the.north property line shall be a maximum of
, 6-feet in height and shall be maintained in a neat.and orderly mannpx. ~

Zone site development standards, as stipulated to by the agent for the.pet.itioner. ~;
