A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO„ 110 BE APPROUED
WHEREAS, the City ~ouncil of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by
Resolution No. 63R-869, showing the general description and extent of'land uses within
the, City and indicating the present belief of the Council as to possible future develop-
ment and redevelopment of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Co~ission of t.he City of Anaheim did receive a verified
Petition for Reclassification No. 68-69-29, which petition has implications on policies
as expressed on said General Plan; and
WHER£AS, in addition to the notice of the hearing of said Relcassification notice
was also given regarding the consideration of an~amendment to the General Plan and an
Area Development Plan No. 45 in the general location and vicinity of subject property of
said Reclassification; and
~~, WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold public hearings at'the City Hall
?; in the City of Anaheim on November 4 and 18, 1968, at 2:00 and 7:30 o'clock P.M., notice
,i of said public hearings having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with
`, the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider avidence for and
against said Amendment to the General Plan, Area Development Plan, and said proposed
Petition for Reclassification and to investigate and make findings and recommendations
in connection tl~erewith; and
~' WHEREAS, said Commission after due inspection, investigation, and study made by
;r itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
off ered at said hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND.
1. That evidence was presented at said hearing which justifies the City Planning

~`' Commission's recommending to the City Council a change in the pr-esent general
~, description and extent of land uses in the area as follows:

:~~ "bounded on the west by Sunkist Street; on the north by the future west-
~~~ ward extension of Hilda Lane; on the east b the
-~:j:' off-ramp; and on the south by Ball Road." Y Proposed Ora~ge Freeway

`,., 2• That ~Exhibit "C" of General Plan Amendment No. 110, depicting neighborhood
", commercial along the Ball Road frontage, and low-medium residential density
';'~ immediately northly of the commercial to the future extension of Hilda Lane
''~ extending westerly to Sunkist Street, does consititute an acceptable alternative
to current policies as illustrated on the General Plan.

,. 3. I'hat 8 persons appeared representing approximately 75 persons present in
the Council Chamber in opposition; and that petitions and letters signed
by 138 persons were received in opposition.

NOW, THEREFORE, B£ IT ReSOLVED that the City Planning Comrnission of the City of
Anaheim does hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that subject
~eneral Plan Amendment be approved on the basis of the aforementioned findings, and in
accordance with Exhibit "C".
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 27th day of November,
1968.
