RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANANEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 67-68-48 gg pppROVED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for ReclassiEice-

`. ~ WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hel] in the City of Anaheim on

January 29~ 1968~ at 2:00 0'~l~~ck P.M. notice of seid public hearing having been duly given as required by
r law and in accordence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.72, to hear and consider evidence
_ for and against said pioposed reclassification and to investigate and meke findings nnd recommendetions in connectior:
therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commiss!on, after due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself end in its beheli, and
efter due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said heering, does find and determine the fallowing fects:
1. Thet the petitioner proposes a reclassification of the above described pr~perty from the R-A~ Agricultural~
Zone to the R-2-5000, One Family, Zone to establish 2 subdivisiors having a total of 159 lots.
2. That the prooosed reclassif.ication is in conformance with the General Plan, and
consistent with the land use and zoning previously approved for oroperties within this general
area.

I~ 3. That the proposed reclessifica[ion of subject property is necessary and/or desirable for the ordecly and pco-
I per developrrtent of the community.
~ 4. Thet the proposed reclessificetion of subject property does properly relate to the zones end their permitted
uses locally e~tablished in close proximity to subject property and to the zones and their permitted uses generallp esteb-
lished throughout the community.
5. That the proposed reclassification of subject property requires the dedication and
improvement o` abutting streets in accordance with the Circulation Element of the General Plan,
due to the anticipated increase in traffic which will be generated by the intensification of
land use.
