A RESOLUTION OF THE C1TY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 68-69-58 BE APPROVED
r WHEREAS, the City Plenning CommIssion of the CIty of Aneheim did receive a verified Petition for ReclassIfica-
tIonfrom COVINGI'ON BROTHF,RS CONSTRUCfION COMPANY AND SAN MARCUS,~ 2451 East Orangethorpe,
Fullerton, California 92631, OWners; J. L. AND MARJORIE GARWOOD, 708 South Vai1 Street,
Montebello, California 90640, Agents of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hell in the City of Anehelm on
DeCember 30, 1968~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of said public hearing heving been duly given as cequired by
law and ia accordance mith the provisions oEthe Aneheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.72, to hear end consider evidence
fot and against seid peoposed reclessification and to investigate and make findings and recommendetions in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said CommIasion, efter due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself end in flts behalf, end
efter due conaideration of all evidmce and reports offered at said heering, does find and determine the following facts:
1. Thot the petitioner proposes a reclessification of the above described proper!y from the R-3, Multiple-
Family Residentiai, Zone to the C-1, General Commercial, Zone.
2. That the scope of the proposed reclassification, if approved, does not warrant an
amendment to the General Plan at the present time, however, its relationship to the General
Plan symbol will be considered at the next annual review.
3. Thet the proposed reclessificetion of subject property is necessery and/oc desirable tor the orderly and pra
per development of the community.
4. Thet the proposed reclassification of subject property does properly relete to the zones and their permitted
usea locelly establlshed in close proximity to subject property and to the zones and their permitted uses generally esteb-
lished throughout the community.

that Title 18-ZonIng of the Anaheim Municipsl Code be amended to e:clude the above deacribed property fcom the
R-3, Muitiple Family Residential, Zone and to incorporate said described property in'to the
C-1, General Commercial, Zone, unconditionally,
