PC 68-5~ ~ ,'`- .. i RESOLUTION N0, p~68-5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 1935 gE DENIED WHEREAS, the City Planning Commissiun of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Varie~~ce from DICK ABLES, 3a865 Acacia Street, Yucaipa, California 92399, LB~NARD SMITH, 5017 °embroke Street, Ventura, California 93003, and FRANK CLAYTON JR,, 1516 South Euclid Street, Anaheim, California 92802, O~.vners; HARKER DEVELOPMENT ~RPORATION, P. 0. Box 2547, Anaheim, California °2804, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State o.` California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to her ein as though set forth in full ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on January 3~ 196R~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid ublic hearin havin been dul law andin accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and cons der evldence or and against said proposed variance nnd to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and 19HEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, ir.vestigation, end study made by itself and in its behalf, and efter due consideration af all evidence and reports ol.'fered at said hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 1. That the petitioner requests a veriance from the Anaheim Municipal Code as foll.ows, to oermit the establishment of two free-standing signs on subject property. That the requested variance is not necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial orooerty right po;sessed by other property in the :;ame vicinity and zone, and denied to the orooerty in question. 4. That th> requested variance will be materially detr'_mental to the oublic welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located. ~ 5.
