A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THnT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 194'7 gE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning C~nmission of the City of Aneheim did receive a verified Petition for Veriance
from GENOVA ROBINSON WINGF~, 3818 Franklin Avenue, Los Angeles, Cali£ornia 90027, Owner; MRSo
HC3WARD ABBOTT, 731 Cambria Street, Anaheim, California 92801, Agent of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and ref erred to herein as though set forth in full

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold e public hearing at the City Hal( in the City of Anahcim
on February 26~ 1968~ et 2:00 o'clcck P.M., notice of said public heering having been duly given es required
by law end in ac~:ordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18,68,to hear and consider
evidence for and against said proposed veriance end to investigate and meke findings and recommendations in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, end study made by itself end in its behalf,
and after due consideration oE ell evidenc^ and reports offered at seid heering, does Eind end determine the following
facts
1. Thet the petitioner requests a veriance from the Aneheim Municipal Code• as follows~ to permit the
construction of a sinol_ far..i?y r~sidence cn subject pro~erty:
SECTION 1A,18.030(2-ai - Minimum setback reauirements (15-foot setback required
ad,jacent to all property lines; a minimum of 7-foot setback
proposed for the garage along the south boundary).
2. That there ere exceptional or extraordinery circumstanc~ or conditions epplicable to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property thet do not epply generally to the property or class of use in the seme vicinity
and zone.
3. Thet the requested varience is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of e substential property right
possessed by other property in the same vicinity end zone, and denied to the ptoperty in questlon.
4. That the requested varience will not be meterielly detrimental to the public welfate or Injurious to the pmp-
erty or improvements in such vicinity end zone in which the property is located.
5. That~the ~exis'ting prfvate ~roa~~=i'F=dedi~atad'to•+the City;:ofN~4naheim will serve only two
other homes, therefore, little traffic hazards could occur.
