WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive e verified Petition for Varience
from JACK R. AND ELAINE S, GOLDEN, 929 West Pioneer Drive, Anaheim, California 92805, Owners oF
certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California.
described as Lot Noo 7 of Tract No. 1942 •
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold e public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim
on April 8, 1968~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required
by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.68, to hear and consider
evidence for and egainst said proposed variance end to investigate end make findings and recommendations in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commissinn, after due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself end in its behelf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered dt said hearing, does find and determine the following
facts;
1. Thet the petitioner requests a variance from the Anaheim Municipal Code as follows, to oermit the
expansion of an existing residence:

2. That there are exceptional or extraordinary circums!ances or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not epply generally to the property or class of use in the same vicinity
and zone.
3. That the requested variance is necessary fot the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right
possessed by other property in the seme vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question.
4. That the requested variance will not be materially detrimental to the public welfere or injurious to the prop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located.
5. That existi.ny side yard setbacks are the same as those proposed tor the new addition.
6. That no one apoeared in opuosition.

; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anoheim City Plenning Commission does hereby grant subject
? Petition for Varience, upon the following conditions which ere hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfere of the Citlzens of the City of
Anaheim:
1. Thai subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and
specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, ma.rked Exhibit IJos. 1 and 2.
