WHEREAS, the City Pl~nning Commission of the City of Aneheim did receive a vetified Petition for Con-
ditional Use Permit trom SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS, 9707 Magnolia Avenue, Riversida, California
92503, Owner; APOLLO DEVELOPMENI' CORPORATIOtd, 1104 East 17th Street, Santa Ana, California
92701, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as the Southerly 203 feet of the Easterly 195 feet of the East
half of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. EXCEPTII~G THEREFROM that portion described
in the Deed to the County of Orange, recorded March 23, 1967 in Book 8206, page 203 of
Official Records, in the offi.ce of the Recorder o: said Orange County.

WHEREAS, the City Pl~naing Commisslon dId hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Maheim
on June 2, 1969, ~t 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing heving been duly givm
es required by lap and in ocrnrdence with the provisions of the Meheim Municipel crode, Chapter 18.64, to hear
end coneider evidence for tad ~gainet oaid proposed conditional use and to investigate and meke findings and
recom~endetiona in connactlon therewlth; ~nd
WHEREAS, ~aid Commi~sion~ ~ftet due inepection, investigetion, end study mede by itself and in its be-
half, end after due coasideration of all evidence and rcports offered at seid hearing, doea find and determine the
following ;ecta:
1. 1'hat ihe propoeed uee i~~,oroperly one for which a Conditional Use Permit is authorized by Coc:e:
Section i8.4Q,060(c), to establish an automibile service station within 75 feet of
a residential zone.
2. That the proposed use will adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the
growth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located.
3~ That the siz2 and shape of the site proposed for the use is not adequate to
allow the full development of the proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the
particular area nor to ihe peace, health, safety and general welfare of the Citiz2ns
of the City of Anaheim.
4. That the granting of the Conditional Use Permit under the conditions imposed,
if any, will be detrimental to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the
Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
5. Since the proposed R-3 and C-1 classifications have been recommended for denial,
this conditional use permit petition would not be applicable.

NOW, THEREFQRE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Plenning Commission does hereby deny subject
Petition for Conditionel Use Permit on the basis of the aforementioned findings.
