A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT N0. 1101 gE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the ~ity Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Conditional
Use Permitfrom A. EIDEL9JN, 2!15 North Broadway Street, Santa Ana, California 92706, Owner;
INTERNATIOIGAL HOTEL CONSTRU~I'ION AND MANAGEMENT, INO~RFORATED, 8383 Center Drive La Mesa,
California 92041, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of

WHEREAS, the City Plar.ning Commission did hold e public hearing et the City Hell in the City ot Aneheim on
March 24, 1969~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing heving been duly given as required by
law and in eccordance with the provisions of the Maheim Municipel code, Chepter 18.64, to hear end consider evidence
for and ageir.st seid proposed rnnditionel use end to investigate and make findings and recommendetions in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commtssion, after due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself end in its behalE, and
after due considerntion of all evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find and determine the follo wing facts:
1. Thet the proposed use is properly one for which e Conditional Use Permit is euthorized by Code:
Section 18.37.020(c-12) to wits establish a 9-story iG5-io~t notel comp:ex on subject
p~operty.
2. That the proposed u:s:~ will not adversely affect the adjoining lend uses and the growth end development o(
the etea in which it is proposed to be located.
3. That the size and shape of the site proposed for the use is edequete to allow the full development of the
proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the perticular erea nor to the peace, health, safety, end genewl welfere of
the Cltlzens of the City of Aneheim.
4. Thet the granting of the Conditionel Use Peanlt unde: the conditions imposed, if eny, will not be detrimentel
to the peace, health, sefety, and general welfere of the Citizms of the City of Aneheim.
5. That the petitioner stipulated to complying with all the site development standards
of the C-R Zone including parking requ:rements, and stated that the only request that he was
making under this application was for permission to exceed the basic 75-foot height limitation.
6. That the height of the proposed hotel would be within the limits set fortt~ under the
Height Standard Guideline developed for the Commercial-Recreation area.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED th~t the M~heim City Plonnin~ Commisalon does hereby gant subject
Petition for Conditionel Use Permit, upoa the Eo1lowIn6 conditiona which are haeby found to be a neceasery preroquisite
• to the propoeed use of the aubject property in order to preeeeve the saEety and 6eneral welfare of the Citizens of the
City of Anahetm:
1. That this cc~nditional use permit is granted subject to the completion of Reclassi-
fication No. 66-67-b1.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00
per front~foot along Harbor Boulevard and Convention Way, for street lighting purposeso
~ 3. That the owner of sutject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of 15~ per
fron± foot along Harbor Boulevard and Convention Wa~, for tree planting purposes.
4. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file
~:~i with the office of the Director of Public Works.
5. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the
~ ~ Chief of trte Fire Department.
6. That any air-conditioning facilities proposed shall be properly shielded from view,
and the sound shall be buffered from adjacent residential homes.
7. That all exterior lighting shall be directed downward and away from ad-joining parcelsy
~ and any parking ar2as located adjacent to residential parcels shall be 1=ghted with down-
lighting a maximum of 6-f eet in height and said lighting shall be directed away from the
property lines to protect the inteqrity of any adjacent residential area.
8. That Condition Nos. 2 and 3, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to the time
that the Building Permit is issued or within a period of 180 days from date hereof, whichever
occurs first, or such further time as the Commission or City Council may grant.
9. That Condition Nos. 4~ 5, 6, ano 7, above mentioned, shal: be complied with prior to
final building and zoning inspections.
10. That subject property shall be developed with uses that are permitted in the C-R Zone
and all site development standards of the C-R Zone shall be adhered to.
