WITH SECTION 18.04.020(6) THERETO
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission at a public hearing on April 2Q, 1970 adopted and
recommended adoption to the City Council revisions to Chapter 18.04, General Provisions - Use -
Keeping of animals for pomestic and Commercial use in residential zones and Chapter 18.04,
, Definitions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted said revisions in Ordinance No. 2821 on June 15,
' 1970; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on April 20, 1970 did set for public hearing amendments
' to the Residential Zones of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Cornrnission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the
City of AnahEim on May 18,and June 29, 1970 at 2:00 0'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing
~' having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim
;; Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed zoning art:endments
~: and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; ano
;;~ WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigstion, and study mzde by itself
,;~ and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
,;r hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. That as a result of amendments of Chapter 18.04, it became necessary to
amend the residential chapters of the Anaheim Municipal Code in order to
`~ eliminate }
possible conflic,.s and provide for clarity of interpretation.
2. That the Conditional Use Chapter of the Anaheim Municipal Code 18.64, per-
R taining to animal hospitals, kennels and equestrian establishments should
3 include the designation of "commercial" to distinguish the commercial use
;; from the residential operations.
NOW, THERL-FORE, BE I7 RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby adopt
and recommends to the City Council of the City of Anaheim the adoption of amendments to Title
18 Zoning, of the Anahein ~J~~nicipal Code as depicted on Exhibit "A" attached heieto and referred
to herein as though set forth in full, on the basi.s of the foreg ing findings.
