A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIOPTAL USE PERMIT 12G1 gE DENIEU
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Con-
ditional Use Permit from MAX F. APiD MAY E. HILISCHER, Box 156 Hubbard Creek Road~ Umpqua~
, Oregon 97486, Oianers; TAX EHEL'IERED INVESTMENTS, INCORPORATED, 14724 Ventura Boulevard,
, 5herman Oaks, California 91403, Agent of certain real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as Lot No. 1 of Tract No. 3370,
recorded in Book 144, Pages 7 and 8 of Miscellaneous Maps.

WHEREAS, the CityPlanning Commission did hold a public hearing at the CityHell in the City of Anaheim
on September 10, 1970, at :00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given
as required by law and in accordence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal code, Chapter 18.64, to hear
end consider evidence for and egeinst said proposed conditional use and to investigate and meke findings and
recommendations in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigetion, and study made by itself and in its be-
half, and after due considecetion of all evidence and reports offered at seid hearing, does find and determine the
following facts:
1. Thnt the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditionel Use Permit is authorized by Code

carwash facility or gas servicing, an~ the line could extend into a heavily traveled
street.
5. That th? petitioner is proFOS~nq most of the exii;ing on to a locai resi.dential
street, thereby creatiny two incompatibla traffic patte:ns.
6. That the discontinuznce of a servi~e station on subje.;t property was indicative
that the traffic pattern at this inCe=se.tlon nas ±oo intense to make any automotive
service business a success, th~refore, thF propused use ~no~~ld not oniy be incompatible
to the residentiai use adjoining, but tne traffic v:ould discouraae patrons in utilizing
the facility unless the traff'ic flo•,v lvould be to the resider~tial street.
